Course Description
This course seeks to develop sound management concepts within students, as management plays a role in any future employment opportunity. Effective management requires decision-making abilities, long-range planning knowledge, human relations expertise, and motivational skills. Students learn the four basic functions of management. Students will also explore the components of a comprehensive business plan. This course is designed for the student who is exploring the possibility of a career in business or hopes to one day to open their own business. Students are encouraged to join FBLA, a student organization whose goal is for students to develop a “career success kit” to carry into their business and personal lives. |
